Delhi Launches Rs 50 Lakh Innovation Challenge to Combat Air Pollution with Affordable Technologies

The Delhi government has launched an Innovation Challenge offering rewards up to Rs 50 lakh for affordable technologies that reduce particulate pollution from roads, vehicles, and construction sites. Led by the Delhi Pollution Control Committee, this initiative seeks practical, low-cost solutions that can significantly cut PM2.5 or PM10 levels while functioning in Delhi's extreme climate. Applications are open until October 31, 2025, with a three-stage evaluation process to identify and implement the most effective solutions citywide.
