Twelve laborers from Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit district are reportedly stranded in Kyrgyzstan, with their families alleging torture and exploitation. Each worker paid approximately Rs 2.5 lakh to recruitment agents who provided misleading contracts on 59-day visas. The Pilibhit district administration has submitted a report to the UP Home Department to facilitate their safe return as the workers continue sending video messages pleading for rescue.
