78 Maoists Including 43 Women Surrender in Chhattisgarh: Major Blow to Naxal Movement

In a significant setback to the Naxal movement, 78 Maoists including 43 women surrendered across three Chhattisgarh districts, handing over dozens of weapons including AK-47 rifles. This follows another major surrender in neighboring Maharashtra, bringing the total Naxal surrenders to approximately 2,000 since December 2023, as the government pushes toward its goal of a Naxal-free India by 2026.
