Punjab Court Orders Kangana Ranaut's Personal Appearance in Defamation Case Over Farmer Protest Tweet

Actor and MP Kangana Ranaut must appear in person on October 27 in a Bathinda court for a defamation case related to her social media comments during the 2020-21 farmer protests. The court rejected her request for video appearance in the case filed by 73-year-old Mahinder Kaur, who alleges the BJP MP misidentified her as a Shaheen Bagh protestor in a controversial retweet.
