Madhya Pradesh Farmers Suspend Highway Protest After Government Promises Action on MSP and Loan Waivers

Thousands of farmers from Madhya Pradesh temporarily suspended their day-long blockade of National Highway 52 at Khalghat toll plaza after officials promised to forward their demands for guaranteed MSP, loan waivers, and land acquisition compensation to the highest levels of government. The protest, organized by Rashtriya Mazdoor Kisan Mahasangh, drew nearly 5,000 participants and led authorities to deploy 400 police personnel before negotiations succeeded.
