Bipin Joshi, a 23-year-old Nepalese agriculture student who traveled to Israel for the "Learn and Earn" program, has been confirmed dead while in Hamas captivity. Captured during the October 7, 2023 attack just 25 days after arriving in Israel, Joshi reportedly helped others escape before being taken hostage. His remains will be returned to Israeli authorities alongside three other deceased captives, according to an announcement by Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades.
