Punjab Police have registered multiple FIRs across several districts following the discovery of over 100 social media handles sharing hateful content targeting Chief Justice of India Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai. The offensive posts contained casteist expressions and were deemed attempts to undermine judicial institutions, with investigations continuing under the Scheduled Castes and Tribes Act and Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita.
