West Bengal Makes State Anthem Mandatory in School Morning Assemblies Alongside National Anthem

The West Bengal government has mandated that all state-run and state-aided schools must now include Rabindranath Tagore's 'Banglar Mati Banglar Jol' as a prayer song in morning assemblies alongside the National Anthem. Education Minister Bratya Basu stated this initiative aims to promote communal harmony and social consciousness among students.
