In a significant development for Chhattisgarh's anti-insurgency efforts, 21 Maoist cadres, including 13 women and Division Committee Secretary Mukesh, surrendered in Kanker district with 18 weapons. This surrender is part of the 'Poona Margem: Rehabilitation through Reintegration' initiative by Bastar Range police, following previous surrenders of 210 and 103 Naxalites in October.
