School Bus Plunges From Bridge in Madhya Pradesh: 28 Students Injured During Educational Trip to Sanchi

A school bus carrying 45 students from Higher Secondary School in Bahadurpur fell from a 12-foot bridge over the Sagad River in Madhya Pradesh's Vidisha district, resulting in 28 injuries. The accident occurred during an educational trip to Sanchi when the driver lost control on the narrow Johad bridge. While several students sustained serious injuries requiring specialized care at Vidisha Medical College, fortunately no fatalities were reported.
