Bangladesh Issues Arrest Warrants for Former PM Sheikh Hasina in Enforced Disappearance Cases

Bangladesh's International Crimes Tribunal has issued arrest warrants against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and 29 others on charges of crimes against humanity related to enforced disappearances during her Awami League government. The 78-year-old Hasina, currently in India following her ousting during mass protests in August last year, faces prosecution alongside former military officers and government officials for alleged abductions and torture of political dissidents.
