Milestone Achievement: Three More Cheetahs Set for Release into Kuno National Park on International Cheetah Day

On International Cheetah Day, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will release three more cheetahs into Kuno National Park's open forest, marking significant progress in India's cheetah reintroduction program. Since PM Modi launched Project Cheetah in 2022, the population has grown to 32 with six successful litters born, including five cubs from Mukhi, the first India-born female cheetah to reproduce, demonstrating the project's sustainability and success.
