Intelligence-Led Operation Results in Death of Top Maoist Leader Madvi Hidma in Tri-State Border Area

A precision intelligence operation led by Andhra Pradesh's ADG Intelligence Mahesh Chandra Ladha resulted in the elimination of notorious Maoist leader Madvi Hidma and five others in Maredumilli forest. Hidma, who carried a Rs 50 lakh bounty and was responsible for multiple deadly attacks against security forces, was killed during an encounter at the tri-junction of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana as authorities thwarted attempts to revive Maoist activity in the region.
