Larry Summers, former US Treasury Secretary and Harvard president, has taken an abrupt leave from his teaching and administrative positions at Harvard University following the disclosure of emails revealing his friendly relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The decision comes amid a reopened university investigation and after Summers had already severed ties with multiple organizations including OpenAI.
