India has implemented a five-year anti-dumping duty of USD 121.55 per tonne on hot rolled flat steel products from Vietnam following DGTR recommendations. This protective measure aims to shield domestic manufacturers from cheap imports while balancing trade relations between the two WTO and ASEAN-connected nations, whose bilateral trade reached USD 14.81 billion in 2023-24.
