Successful Capture of Elusive Leopard at Pune Airport After Months-Long Operation

A male leopard that had been moving within Pune Airport premises since April has been safely captured following a multi-agency operation. Forest officials, RESQ Charitable Trust, and the Indian Air Force collaborated to tranquilize the animal, which had been using underground tunnels and dense vegetation to navigate the airport grounds. The leopard is now under observation at the Transit Treatment Centre in Bavdhan, Pune.
