Maharashtra Municipal Council Elections: 246 Councils and 42 Nagar Panchayats to Vote on December 2, Results on December 3

Maharashtra will conduct elections for 246 municipal councils and 42 nagar panchayats on December 2, with vote counting on December 3. State Election Commissioner Dinesh Waghmare announced that 66,775 personnel will oversee the process for 1.7 crore eligible voters. The elections will use EVMs to elect 6,859 members and 288 presidents, with special measures implemented to address concerns about duplicate voters in electoral rolls.
