Australia and India have signed a landmark submarine rescue agreement during their first annual defence ministers' dialogue, enhancing maritime security cooperation in the Indo-Pacific. The historic meeting between Defence Ministers Richard Marles and Rajnath Singh also established frameworks for defence technology collaboration and naval maintenance partnerships, strengthening their joint strategic position within the Quad alliance as they address regional security challenges.
