Cyclone Ditwah, named after Yemen's Detwah Lagoon, is set to make landfall on November 30 across South Indian coasts. The IMD has issued orange alerts for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and south Andhra Pradesh, warning of heavy to extremely heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning. Currently positioned over coastal Sri Lanka and the southwest Bay of Bengal, this is the third post-monsoon cyclone in the region, with widespread impacts expected across multiple southern states.
