Following a crisis involving over 2,000 flight cancellations, the Indian government has ordered IndiGo, the country's largest airline, to reduce operations by 10%. Despite the airline's claims of normalized operations, this reduction will result in cancellation of more than 200 daily flights. The DGCA has issued show cause notices to IndiGo's leadership and launched an investigation into the internal mismanagement of crew rosters and flight schedules that caused significant passenger inconvenience.
