The Delhi Pollution Control Committee has banned the use of coal and firewood in restaurant tandoors across the city due to persistently high pollution levels. All commercial food establishments must now switch to electric, gas-based, or clean-fuel appliances as part of the Graded Response Action Plan to improve Delhi's air quality.
