UIDAI Identifies 34 Lakh Deceased Aadhaar Cardholders in West Bengal's Electoral Roll Cleanup

The Unique Identification Authority of India has discovered approximately 34 lakh deceased Aadhaar cardholders in West Bengal since 2009, with an additional 13 lakh deceased individuals who never possessed Aadhaar cards. This data is being used by the Election Commission during its Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls to eliminate ghost voters and ensure accurate voter lists across the state.
