Delhi Hospitals Treat Over 60 Burn Injury Cases Following Diwali Firecracker Accidents

Multiple Delhi hospitals reported 60 burn cases from Diwali celebrations, with AIIMS treating 33 firecracker-related injuries on the festival night alone. Nearly half the patients required hospitalization, with most victims aged 10-40 years. Despite numerous serious injuries including finger amputations and eye damage, no fatalities were recorded, while Delhi Fire Services noted a 15% decrease in emergency calls compared to last year.
