A construction worker from West Bengal was arrested for murdering his wife and burying her body near their workplace in Ayarkunnam, Kerala. The suspect, Soni SK, confessed to strangling his wife Alpana Khathoon and striking her with an iron rod due to suspicions of infidelity. He was apprehended at a railway station while attempting to flee with his two children after filing a missing person report three days after the murder.
