Ahead of Bihar's assembly elections, enforcement agencies have confiscated over Rs 71 crore worth of cash, liquor, drugs, and precious metals despite the state's alcohol prohibition since 2016. The Election Commission has deployed 824 flying squads to monitor violations, with citizens able to report infractions via the C-Vigil app or ECINET platform before the November voting dates.
