Tirupati Temple Scandal: Former Board Chief Questioned in Rs 250 Crore Adulterated Ghee Investigation

A Special Investigation Team is questioning former Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Executive Officer A.V. Dharma Reddy regarding the alleged adulteration of ghee used in Tirupati Laddu prasadam. The investigation reveals approximately 68 lakh kilograms of counterfeit ghee valued at Rs 250 crore was supplied over five years, synthesized from palm oil and industrial chemicals instead of milk products.
