Fugitive Life Convict Caught After 37 Years Living as a Sadhu in Madhya Pradesh

A life-sentenced acid attack convict who had been evading authorities for 37 years after jumping bail has been finally arrested in Madhya Pradesh. The man, Rajesh alias Raju, had been living disguised as a religious sadhu at Gayatri Shaktipith in Shivpuri district. Police used advanced fingerprint identification technology to track down the fugitive who had been convicted of a 1986 acid attack that seriously injured two men.
