The iconic Tom Jung painting that first introduced Star Wars to the world in May 1977 has sold at auction for $3.875 million, setting records for film memorabilia. Originally displayed in newspaper advertisements before the film's premiere, this historic artwork was kept by producer Gary Kurtz before being sold by Heritage Auctions, surpassing the previous franchise record held by Darth Vader's lightsaber.
