Russia's state nuclear corporation Rosatom has delivered the first consignment of nuclear fuel for Tamil Nadu's Kudankulam plant's third reactor, coinciding with President Putin's visit to India. The delivery is part of a 2024 contract to supply fuel for the third and fourth VVER-1000 reactors throughout their operational lifespan, with seven total shipments planned to complete the reactor core.
