Tragedy at Sea: 7 Dead, 13 Rescued as Myanmar Migrant Boat Capsizes Near Malaysian Waters

Malaysian authorities have recovered seven bodies and rescued 13 survivors after a vessel carrying approximately 300 Myanmar migrants capsized near Malaysia. The boat, which departed from Myanmar's Rakhine state, is believed to have split passengers into three smaller vessels, with one sinking near Thailand's Tarutao Island. The UNHCR reports that around 5,200 Rohingya refugees have undertaken dangerous sea journeys this year, with nearly 600 reported missing or dead.
