External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar advocated for a new paradigm in UN peacekeeping operations to effectively address the evolving nature of global conflicts involving non-state actors and asymmetric threats. Speaking at a conference of troop-contributing countries, he emphasized the need for enhanced training, advanced technology, and mandate reevaluation while also strongly supporting comprehensive UN Security Council reforms.
