RSS Activist Dies By Suicide After BJP Ticket Denial for Kerala Local Elections

An RSS activist in Thiruvananthapuram, Anand K Thampi, died by suicide after allegedly being denied a BJP ticket for local body elections. Before his death, he sent messages alleging connections between local leaders and a sand-smuggling mafia. Though BJP officials claim he never formally requested a ticket, Shiv Sena representatives confirmed he had approached them seeking support after the BJP denial. Police are investigating the incident.
