Sabarimala Gold Theft Investigation: Former Temple Official Detained as Conspiracy Widens

Former Sabarimala temple administrator Murari Babu has been detained by investigators for allegedly manipulating records to conceal gold theft from Lord Ayyappa's shrine. The Special Investigation Team reports that approximately 475 grams of gold remain missing in what the Kerala High Court describes as a "well-orchestrated conspiracy" involving multiple officials of the Travancore Devaswom Board since 2019.
