Nine patients from Bijapur, Chhattisgarh have developed serious eye infections following cataract surgeries performed at a government district hospital. Health authorities have transferred the affected individuals to Raipur for specialized treatment and formed a three-member investigative committee to determine the causes of these complications and prevent future incidents. The committee has been directed to submit its findings within three days.
