Andhra Pradesh is establishing India's first integrated 6 GW solar ingot and wafer manufacturing facility, with ReNew Photovoltaics investing Rs 3,990 crore in Anakapalli district. This groundbreaking project, approved by the State Investment Promotion Board under CM Chandrababu Naidu, aims to reduce dependence on imported solar components and create 1,200 jobs while supporting India's goal of achieving 300 GW of solar capacity by 2030.
