Police in Bengaluru have arrested a married couple identified as the kingpins of a sophisticated counterfeit operation producing fake Nandini ghee, a trusted South Indian dairy brand. Authorities seized advanced manufacturing equipment and adulterated products worth Rs 1.26 crore, following earlier arrests of four accomplices. The fraudulent operation exploited the high market demand for the popular KMF-owned brand by distributing adulterated ghee throughout the region.
