Rabbi Eli Schlanger, an 18-year veteran assistant rabbi at Chabad of Bondi, has been identified as the first victim in a terrorist attack at Sydney's Bondi Beach that killed eleven people during a Hanukkah celebration. Police have classified the incident as terrorism, with one of the gunmen identified as 24-year-old Naveed Akram.
