TVK Seeks Rally Permission in Salem Following Deadly Karur Stampede Incident

Following the tragic Karur stampede that killed 41 people, actor Vijay's political party TVK has requested permission for a new public rally in Salem district on December 4, as Tamil Nadu authorities prepare new safety regulations for political gatherings. The CBI is currently investigating the September incident which has sparked controversy between TVK and the ruling DMK government.
