During the swearing-in ceremony of Sergio Gor as America's Ambassador to India, Trump mentioned that India has substantially reduced Russian oil purchases, which had previously triggered high US tariffs. The two nations have completed five rounds of negotiations and are reportedly close to concluding their bilateral trade agreement.
