NHPC Achieves Major Milestone: 250 MW Unit Synchronized in India's Largest 2,000 MW Hydropower Project

NHPC has successfully synchronized Unit-2 of the 2,000 MW Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project with the National Grid, marking a significant advancement for India's largest hydropower initiative. Located at the Arunachal Pradesh-Assam border, this project will eventually generate 7.421 billion units of renewable energy annually, strengthening India's clean energy portfolio and enhancing electricity access across the northeastern region.
