Operation Numkhor: Customs Investigates Toyota Land Cruiser in Bhutan-Kerala Car Smuggling Network

Customs officials are investigating a 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser registered in Arunachal Pradesh as part of Operation Numkhor, a larger probe into suspected vehicle smuggling from Bhutan to Kerala. With 38 vehicles already seized and celebrity-owned cars under scrutiny, authorities believe over 200 Bhutan-registered vehicles are operating illegally in Kerala after evading proper import duties.
