DGCA Directs Airlines to Increase Flights and Control Fares Ahead of Diwali Season

India's aviation regulator DGCA has instructed domestic airlines to expand flight capacity and maintain reasonable pricing during the busy Diwali travel season. In response, major carriers including IndiGo, Air India, and SpiceJet have announced hundreds of additional flights for October and November. The regulator will continue monitoring fares to protect passenger interests during this high-demand period.
