59% of Bihar's Unrecognised Political Parties Failed to Disclose Finances in 2023-24: ADR Report

According to a report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), nearly 60% of Bihar's registered unrecognised political parties failed to disclose mandatory financial information for 2023-24. Of 275 parties reviewed, only 24% made complete financial disclosures, collectively declaring Rs 85.56 crore income and Rs 71.73 crore in donations. The report highlights significant transparency issues among political organizations operating in Bihar's electoral landscape.
