Saikat Chakrabarti, born to Indian immigrants and former chief of staff to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is campaigning for Nancy Pelosi's Congressional seat in San Francisco. This Harvard Computer Science graduate transitioned from tech to politics in 2016, working on Bernie Sanders' campaign before co-founding Justice Democrats and helping draft the Green New Deal. He currently leads the policy think tank New Consensus while remaining active in numerous community organizations.
