Akasa Air's co-founder and Senior Vice President for International Operations, Neelu Khatri, has resigned after five years with the airline. Under her leadership, Akasa launched international flights within 19 months of operations and established a codeshare partnership with Etihad. Despite this high-level departure, the three-year-old carrier, which currently operates 30 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft serving 30 cities, maintains its international expansion plans remain unchanged as it aims to grow its fleet to 226 aircraft by 2032.
