An accidental explosion at Nowgam Police Station in Jammu and Kashmir has claimed nine lives and injured 32 others. DGP Nalin Prabhat confirmed the blast occurred during a forensic procedure involving explosive materials seized from Faridabad. The victims included personnel from SIA, FSL team members, and officials assisting the investigation. Authorities have launched a formal inquiry while maintaining the incident was accidental.
