The World Bank has approved $305 million for Haryana's Clean Air Project for Sustainable Development, aiming to transform the state into a pollution-free region by 2030. The comprehensive $439 million (Rs 3,646 crore) initiative will implement multisectoral interventions across transport, industry, and agriculture, including deploying 500 electric buses and establishing advanced air quality monitoring systems throughout the state.
