Safran Launches India's First Global Engine MRO Facility in Hyderabad: A Major Leap Towards Aviation Self-Reliance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated Safran's state-of-the-art aircraft engine maintenance facility in Hyderabad, marking India's first global engine OEM MRO operation. With an investment of Rs 1,300 crore, the facility will service up to 300 LEAP engines annually by 2035, create 1,000+ skilled jobs, and significantly advance India's aerospace self-reliance while establishing Hyderabad as a premier aviation maintenance hub in Asia.
