Omar Abdullah Demands Investigation into Political Interference at Rs 3,700 Crore Ratle Hydropower Project

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has called for an investigation after Megha Engineering alleged political interference and extortion attempts at the 850 MW Ratle hydropower project in Kishtwar. The company warned it may abandon the nationally important project if coercion by two BJP MLAs continues, potentially causing further delays to a project previously stalled for eight years.
