The Haryana government has launched an investigation into the assets of Sudhir Kumar who bid Rs 1.17 crore for the prestigious HR88B8888 number plate but failed to complete payment. Transport Minister Anil Vij ordered the probe to verify Kumar's financial capability and has warned that auction participation carries responsibility. The coveted vehicle registration number will now be reauctioned through Haryana's official online platform.
